Rick and Kelly and I took a trip to Culver City for some art infection. Good work all around, but I was particularly into Ian Francis' stuff at Kinsey/DesForges
A hello can come in many varieties. We say words or write emails, wave or just smile. Hugging is a favorite.
Hellos can also be made out of printed images or video, and interactive digital environment or a logo.
We don't normally think of these more fancy things as hellos. Don't be fooled. They're saying hello all the time. It's just that all too often, hellos are poorly designed and end up feeling more like aesthetic hate crimes than friendly greetings.
That's why when it comes to waves, smiles and hugs, we're pretty free and loose. But with these other more involved hellos, we commit to taking our time, investing our passion, and making the best hellos we can.
